Did we just become best friends?
Hi! I’m Melissa – a Leesburg Wedding Photographer
I know, I know – every wedding photographer talks about becoming besties. We’re all aware it’s a bit cheesy, but it’s true! And SO important. We’re the vendor that will be there for every second of your wedding day. The ones who are present for every heartfelt and tearful moment. And the ones who work with you to create the timeless keepsakes you’ll be enjoying for years to come.
That’s why it’s so important to get to know your wedding photographer, and why I love to get to know my couples. I want you to feel comfortable, relaxed, and supported on your wedding day.
What I bring to your wedding
A calm presence. Thoughtful direction. An understanding of what’s really important. I’m not going to bark directions at you until the pose looks “just right.” I’m going to make you laugh, remind you to breathe, and quietly document the things that matter while you focus on being present.
This isn't my first champagne toast
From backyard barbecues to black-tie ballrooms, I’ve been documenting all kinds of love stories around the DMV area since 2020. What I’ve learned is that the best photos don’t come from perfect conditions. They come from trust and authenticity. When you feel comfortable, when you forget I’m there – that’s when the magic happens.
→ Weddings are about real moments - not staged performances
→ Every gallery should tell a complete story. From the quiet moments before the ceremony, to tearing up the dance floor with your friends
→ Your photographer should be a calm, supportive presence. We hype you up and help set the tone for the day!
→ Every love story deserves to be documented, thoughtfully and with care
Rachel & Karan
From the very beginning, she was professional, communicative, and incredibly thoughtful. Throughout the year leading up to our wedding, she surprised us with little gifts and notes that made us feel cared for and so excited for the big day. That level of intention and personal touch is rare, and it truly set the tone for the experience to come.
When I'm not photographing weddings, I'm just a regular person living my best cozy life in Leesburg, and honestly, I think that's worth knowing. The humans (and dogs) behind the camera matter just as much as the work itself.
