Melissa is an absolutely fantastic wedding photographer! We really can’t emphasize enough how amazing working with her has been. She was incredibly professional and extremely responsive, meeting with us multiple times over the course of about a year to go over our vision for the wedding, working with us through engagement shoots, working around our schedule, etc. And the photos she took were absolutely incredible - we both went over the entire album multiple times, and couldn’t believe how many amazing shots we had to choose from. Both of us were floored at Melissa’s ability to capture very special moments during the ceremony and reception without being obtrusive about it - we had multiple guests mention they didn’t even notice the photos being taken, and some of those pictures ended up being the best of the night!

Melissa’s photos were natural and elegant, and she was such a kind and easygoing person that it made it a real pleasure to work with her. This was one of the best investments we made in our vendors; couldn’t recommend her enough!

With the multiple moving parts of the day, she and her assistant worked perfectly with our day of coordinator and they kept the schedule on track. Planning a wedding, even a small one, is really difficult. We had no idea what to expect on that day for anything, let alone making sure that we got pictures we would be proud and happy to look at afterward. Luckily, we had Melissa as our photographer. She made everything so easy and fun. She kept us on schedule without being demanding and had so many great ideas for pictures. When we got the full photo set (very shortly after the wedding - she works fast!) there were so many surprising shots that were a joy to look at. She captured moment after moment and always seemed to be right where she needed to be to ensure the best angle or pose. We love our photos and will be framing many of them.
