Just last year, I had the honor of photographing Grace and Philip’s wedding. It was a day full of heartfelt vows, joyful dancing, and the kind of quiet, steady love that stays with you. And now, here we are, celebrating the next season of their journey together: parenthood.
Burnside Farms: The Perfect Backdrop
We met at Burnside Farms on a glowing summer evening. The sun cast that dreamy golden light across rows of vibrant sunflowers. It felt almost like walking into a fairytale, with petals swaying in the breeze. The sky melted into soft lavender and peach. The energy between Grace and Philip was peaceful, tender, and full of that quiet anticipation. This anticipation only comes when you’re waiting to meet someone you already love so deeply.
The way they moved through the fields together, hand in hand, was so natural and sweet. Occasionally they paused for a forehead kiss or to cradle her growing bump. Taylor Swift Sweetness
One especially meaningful moment from this session was when Grace, a fellow Taylor Swift fan, gifted me the sweetest Swiftie bracelet. It had a tiny camera charm as a thank-you for capturing the most important parts of their lives. It completely melted me and reminded me how lucky I am. I work with people who care deeply and express it so beautifully.
