Some weddings feel like poetry from start to finish, and Marie and Andrew’s wedding day at Rosemont Manor was exactly that. Even with a brief touch of rain early in the day, the skies cleared, and we were gifted with a beautiful glow that seemed to follow the couple wherever they went.
Emotional First Look and Private Vows
The heart of the day began quietly on the manor’s porch, where Marie and Andrew shared their first look. It was just the two of them, with misty eyes, hands clasped, and hearts full. They exchanged private vows in that space, surrounded by soft light and fresh air. Their words were intimate, vulnerable, and so full of love that even behind the lens, I got choked up. There’s something sacred about witnessing a moment like that. Time slows, and all the noise falls away.

Sweet Ceremony
Afterward, we spent some time on couples portraits, making the most of the moody sky and lush, rain-washed greens. Their bridal party joined us, adding energy and laughter to the mix, and then we headed to the church for a sweet, classic ceremony that made me smile behind the camera the entire time.

Back at Rosemont Manor, Marie and Andrew greeted every guest during a receiving line, a beautiful tradition that gave them a moment with each person who came to celebrate. After a few more portraits (those post-ceremony glows are unmatched), the celebration moved inside.

Party Time
The reception was pure joy. From the moment they walked in hand-in-hand to their first dance, to the laughter and heartfelt words during the toasts, every piece of the evening felt like a reflection of who they are: warm, grounded, and so genuinely in love. And when the dance floor opened, it stayed full.

Marie and Andrew, thank you for trusting me with your story. Your day was a beautiful reminder of what a wedding should be: emotionally rich, joyfully real, and deeply rooted in love.
Here’s to a lifetime of porch vows, shared tears, and dancing through the rain.
