Georgetown is one of those places that just screams personality—historic charm, cobblestone streets, and a waterfront that’s perfect for photos. I had the awesome opportunity to photograph an engagement session for Alex and Tom in this lively part of D.C.
Starting Off Strong
We kicked things off at the waterfront. Right from the get-go, I could tell this session was going to be a great time. Alex and Tom were super sweet and so clearly in love. Their connection was evident, and it was clear they were having a blast.
Waterfront Adventures
We started at the Georgetown Waterfront. The weather was perfect—a gentle breeze and the sun just right. The views of the Potomac River and the city skyline provided a fantastic backdrop.
Canal Shenanigans
Our next stop was the C&O Canal. With its lush greenery, it’s always a great spot for photos. We pretty much had the canal to ourselves and captured some amazing moments.
Exploring the Streets
We continued our adventure through the charming streets of Georgetown, filled with brick townhouses and quaint shops. We ended our session on a cobblestone-lined street and captured my favorite photo of the morning.
I’m super excited for Alex and Tom’s wedding next year! If their engagement session is any indication, their big day is going to be full of laughs, good times, and awesome memories. I can’t wait to capture more of their story and all the amazing moments to come.
Congrats again, Alex and Tom! Here’s to your journey together and the big day ahead. See you at the wedding!
